Olive oil ADELΦΟS belongs to the elite olive oils of the world! Silver Distinction on the BERNIN GOOA 2022
The Mediterranean dolphins accompanied our olive oil on its journey all the way to the quality competition Berlin GOOA - Global Olive Oil Awards 2022 that crowned us winners. The olive oil ADELΦOS (adelφόs = brother, dear friend) PDO Sitia Lasithiou Kritis by the Agricultural Cooperative of Zakros, won the silver medal of quality and is now officially among the world's elite olive oils.
This distinction is particularly important and moving for all the producers of the Agricultural Cooperative of Zakros, as, fellow producers from 28 countries of the world participated in the competition with excellent products. The global competition highlights outstanding brands in the field of quality, appearance and innovation, with olive oil entries reaching 892 this year. The expertise of the jury composed of experts in the field of olive oil such as high profile scientists, pioneers in food technology and important business players, ensures the high standards of the competition and its international recognition in the olive oil production and trade industry.
