ADELΦOS extra virgin olive oil came first in its category, in the preferences of 8 renowned Greek Chefs who tried it in a "blind cooking" test at the Chefs' Choice Awards 2022. The chefs executed recipes with products presented to them with their ingredient tables visible, but their brand label hidden. The final taste test was done with open eyes and led to the victory of ADELΦOS PDO Sitia Lasithiou Kritis, in the extra virgin olive oil category.

In order to complete the rating of the ingredients, apart from the blind cooking contest, the chefs also examined the dossier of each nomination. The main evaluation criteria they took into account are the innovation and the solution that each product offers to high-speed kitchens, the quality, the organoleptic characteristics, the taste, the appearance and the use of responsible environmental practices by the production companies.
