Nikos has traveled all over the world and has many stories to tell and . He counts friends from everywhere, yet he has found his own paradise in his land. For him, the cultivation of olive trees has been a source of life and prosperity for 15 years. Although it is not his exclusive occupation, he instills passion and zeal in his work. The greatest lesson that nature has given him is respect, and its greatest gifts, the freedom he feels when he is outdoors, proper nutrition and the physical exercise from cultivation works.
He uses Zakros olive oil both in his catering business and in his diet. He believes that the microclimate of the area gives it its unique aromas, so characteristic of Zakros. His message to consumers and friends is that “Our oil is the best and the healthiest!”.
The handling of the olive fruits in the state-of-the-art olive mill of the Cooperative, where they are milled fresh on the day they are harvested, allows the oil to have low acidity and a strong fruity element.
